Creamy Golden Milk
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups light coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened plain almond milk
- 2 capsules of Turmeric Curcumin
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 whole cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground black pepper and ground cardamom
- Sweetener of choice (i.e. maple syrup, coconut sugar, or stevia to taste)
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan or pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until fragrant and flavorful. Strain the drink through a fine strainer into mugs and top with a pinch of cinnamon.
- Golden milk can also be made in advance and stored in your refrigerator for up to five days. Simply reheat it before drinking.
